Tyler is Looking for a Flat to Rent

Hi! My name is Tyler. I’m currently working full-time and looking for a safe, clean room to rent in Astoria (or nearby). My ideal move-in date is December 1st. About Me: Full-time Hospitality worker (early morning shifts 6am-12pm, and Late Nights 5pm-12am) Looking for more part time work to build on savings and credit to eventually have my own place. Quiet, respectful, and clean LGBTQ+ friendly and roommate-friendly Good with communication and boundaries I’ve lived in shared housing before and keep common spaces tidy What I’m Looking For: A private room in a clean, respectful apartment I have a friend in the area occasionally he comes over to watch movies and play a video game quietly with me in my bedroom. At frequency of once to twice a week. I keep to myself mostly. I usually enjoy Marijuana as sleep and anxiety aid (outdoor, and respectful of boundaries surrounding odor). I try not to cook often as I am still learning and clean my dishes immediately or either in the morning before I leave, or when get home. Depending on the timing of my shift and sleep schedules. I follow all boundaries with the most absolute respect. My only asks are the ability to have my single friend/partner over for movie nights (in my bedroom, quietly, no overnights unless previously discussed and very rarely) and the use of marijuana outdoors respectfully for sleep and anxiety purposes Budget: flexible depending on size, ideally under $1,200 Month-to-month but long-term preferred Roommates who are chill, kind, and responsible Easy commute within Astoria preferred Why I’m Moving: I’m looking for a stable room for December move in as my current living situation is changing.
