John is Looking for a House to Rent

Young professional, progressive, want to be friends with anyone I'm living with and will generally talk at length about whatever. I'm a doctoral level musician with an online music business so you'll likely hear high level violin and viola from my room during reasonable hours. I'm also into movies, sci-fi, fantasy, horror, drama, action. Into gaming, music (classical, rock, EDM).I'm liberal but not actively political aside from voting, don't really enjoy watching the news or discussing politics, religion or other divisive topics with people I live with but you can watch whatever you want in you own room. I want to keep common areas clean, your own room is your own business but filthy/lots of trash or old food etc is not ok. Also, I often shop in bulk a few times a month, and I'm down to split household basics we both use. I'm a bit of a night owl but also know how to be respectful of other people's space and belongings. If you wanna chill together and watch something or start a show together I'm down, also enjoy playing games with people. I'm single and I'm cool with SO's visiting/staying overnight but if they're keeping their stuff at our place and basically living in the shared space without paying rent or utilities that doesn't work for me. Loud parties are also not super awesome but if its a few times a month and stops when the bars close I'd be ok with it as long as there was no illegal activity. I don't drink anymore so it would be nice if my roommate wasn't a heavy alcoholic either.
