Our family lives in the country near slane which is a 10 minute drive or 35 to 40 mins walk..this is in co.meath. we are 35 mins away from dublin by bus. We also have three dogs ...gypsy blossom and milly. its a very peaceful area....you would require a car to travel if not using bus service.bus service to dublin 35 mins on private coach.also takes you to slane where you can travel to navan and drogheda on a seperate c.i.e bus.please check with your host before booking to ensure distance to collage is not too far....or that it suits your requirements while staying..
