Welcome to Homestay! Accommodations for any type of travel are available. It’s important to note, I am new to this site as of August 2024 but have owned and operated this property since 2017. As of 2025, a decision was made to only use this portal for bookings. The home is clean and welcoming—even curtains & baseboards are attended to after a guest leaves to ensure the new arrival guest has a comfortable space. The room rental in the house often feels like a retreat without all the extra guests. You get cooking privileges 24/7 and no curfew exists. Many travelers have been medical professionals working long shifts. This single family country home sits on 1.5 acres. The BLUE MOUNTAIN BIKE PARK/SKI RESORT and APPALACHIAN TRAIL are nearby with many outdoor opportunities for year-round recreation. (Trivia 101: Pennsylvania is home to 229 of the most picturesque miles on the Appalachian Trail.) Local hiking spots become a haven for photographers. In contrast, Independence Hall in historic Philadelphia is 80 miles south—a great place for any “country mouse” to become a “city mouse” for the day.
