Peafield Farm is located just outside of Kenmare, Co. Kerry, Ireland. It is a peaceful place in the countryside, but within a walkable distance to town. You will have a private bedroom with a double bed, an armoire, and a dresser. There are two shared bathrooms in the house, both equipped with showers. There are many common areas available for your use, as well as a covered deck to enjoy time outside. Food can be provided for an additional cost. There is laundry access. I have trained as an English teacher and help people to improve their English through immersive experience. I am a native English speaker myself, and those who help on the farm are also native speakers. This is a great opportunity to improve your English skills. You can participate in as many activities and excursions as you like, all of which I will be helping you improve your English skills. I can also speak intermediate German, French, and Irish. You are welcome to take part in any farm activities that may interest you. I have a flock of sheep, laying hens, and a pig named Margot. We do forestry thinning, lumber milling, and chop firewood. We butcher deer and poultry, make our own sausages and jerkies. There are two polytunnels and a number of outdoor gardens which we use to grow our own fruit and vegetables. Other activities here include foraging for wild food, making herbal medicines, wine and preserves. We like to experiment with a wide range crafts as well such as curing hides, making leather and woodworking.
