Asa is Looking for a Room to Rent

Hi! I’m looking for a small room to rent. I have a bit of an atypical situation. I am a working professional (software engineer) and master’s student (online at CSUF). I also do contract work on the side, so I’m pretty busy most days. I have a male indoor-only cat who is very calm, non-destructive, and good with other pets (he has lived with small dogs and other cats before, never caused an issue). I work in-person at a medical device company on weekdays in the Lake Forest area, and typically take the train to work. My atypical situation: - My fiance lives in Cerritos (Don Knabe Park area) with her family. She acts as caretaker for her grandmother, and we spend most nights there. - Due to family allergies, my cat is not welcome to live with us at that family house. - A few days/nights each week, but definitely the minority of the week, my fiance and/or I like to visit my cat or stay the night with him. - My fiance has a small, quiet service dog that is usually with her, so any space that needs to be both okay with a cat but also an occasional dog. I currently have this setup in the Garden Grove area, but the commute time back and forth between my place and my fiance’s place is difficult, so I am on the hunt for a similar agreement closer to her family’s house. My cat is mostly content to stay in the room, although he does cry sometimes. I do not anticipate ever having guests outside of my fiance and her service dog, we typically host guests at her family’s house instead. We rarely if ever cook or use the shared common space at the rental: we do not really want to intrude on the rest of the household. I have furniture and am trying to minimize it for this space: it is mostly a place for my cat.
