Hello, Our fairly new home is in Blackwood, a beautiful, safe area at the foot of the Adelaide hills, with the best of both worlds: perfectly located with quick, easy access to the city, but with a country town lifestyle and surroundings.... - a 1 minute walk to the train station, for a direct train in to the city, or via bus to nearby Flinders Uni - just 10km away from the CBD - just 800m from Australia's 2nd oldest national park in Belair, excellent for koala and kangaroo spotting Our home has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large open plan kitchen and living area, butlers pantry, and laundry (we're still finishing the last few things outside and inside the house, with a temporary but very functions version of the kitchen in place currently). It has ducted reverse cycle airconditioning, plus we have a wood fire when it's cold. There's a large 4k smart TV in the living area with Netflix, a Wii games console, as well as unlimited high speed wifi internet. Our large property is surrounded by trees, so we've been visited by many koalas this year, as well as hundreds of different birds and Australian wildlife. We have many local cafes, restaurants, and supermarkets all within a short walk, and Adelaide largest shopping centre is nearby at Marion. Universities: Blackwood is closest to Flinders Uni, although the train makes it easiest to get to Adelaide Uni and Uni SA in the city. If you're able to drive a car, Magill Uni is 20-25mins away. We love to travel, meet new people and are involved in our local community. We are currently fostering a very lovable dog Ruby, but don't have any other pets or children, and are both non-smokers. The guest bedroom is furnished, has a queen size bed, desk, built in robes and sunset views through the trees. Bills are included in the price. If you'd also like lunch or dinner included, this can be arranged at an extra cost. We eat a very lush low carb/keto lifetyle, so can even accomodate that if you like.
