i am 59yo widower, I’m district mamager for my company, which means I do a lot of traveling. I’m easy going and socialible, my favorite thing to do is make people relax and laugh. I have had 3 other roommates in Atlanta, and Jacksonville while at my current job. My new district is centered around Greenville SC which is the reason I am moving here. I'm 27 and looking to cut some living expenses. I'm pretty independent and keep myself busy with work during regular working hours every day. I like to socialize but often don't have the energy for it as I am autistic with ADHD. I try my best to be accepting and compromise where reasonable, so as long as I am allowed my own space and we get along decently and share similar morals, I can thrive with a roommate. I would say my area of deficiency would be cleaning. I like a tidy space but suffer from executive dysfunction. This is usually easily remedied if I have someone I can talk with or who would be willing to gently remind me it's my turn to do the chores, though! I am described by others as sweet but please know that I have boundaries and am not afraid to enforce them. I have one cat, and that is my only pet. She is very sweet but has been territorial over litterbox access in the past when I had another (sick) cat. She never bites or scratches (on purpose), though, she is very much a flight and not fight kind of cat. Please be kind to her. She is very social and needs attention - she is not a house ornament. As someone who is a part of the LGBTQIA+ community, I would like another LGBTQIA+ roommate ideally - preferably one who may be on the asexual spectrum and/or who has little to no interest in female/fem-presenting people. I understand that sexual orientation doesn't just mean you will be interested in everyone of your preferred gender/sex but I just would like to keep it safe and drama-free. I understand I sound pretty dour in this description of me and my expectations, but I really am a pretty optimistic and fun person. I just write super serious. And I don't want to be taken advantage of, so I'd rather scare away those kinds of people by being blunt than sounding bubbly and friendly and then having to deal with that later.
