My name is Culhane St John, I’m 47 years old, and I recently made a big change in my life by relocating from Phoenix, AZ a few months ago. Leaving behind the familiar desert heat and wide-open skies of Arizona wasn’t easy, but I felt it was time for a fresh start and new opportunities. To stay busy and keep income flowing, I’ve been driving for Uber, which has allowed me to meet all kinds of people from different walks of life. Every ride has its own story, and I’ve learned to appreciate the small conversations and unexpected connections that come with the job. Recently, I also started working at the United States Post Office, which feels like a meaningful and stable new chapter for me. Being part of an essential service that connects communities and delivers important mail and packages gives me a sense of purpose and responsibility. Balancing Uber driving with my new position has kept me motivated and focused. This transition represents growth, resilience, and my willingness to embrace change while continuing to work hard and build a solid future for myself
