I have been given a new role in London where I travel around different inner city sites. I am looking for a property with easy and swift access to public transport between Zone 1-3. My preferences are to rent accommodation in East London or North London, this would be ideal for my commutes and various sites I and required to attend. One advantage I have as a candidate flatmate is in my domain experience in building services (maintenance). As a mobile shift engineer, I have 30+ years working knowledge of residential and commercial property and upkeep. This reassurees any maintenance issues that exist can be communicated effectively and identifiy reasonable interventions and fixes for a range of utilities. I can facilitate the fittings, fixtures and repair to my residence for a safe, comfortable and sustainable living environment. I am respectful of people spaces, I am polite and consider the safety of flatmates within the communal property important. I see the home as a place of relaxation and refuge from busy London life. I enjoy a calm, relaxing and comfortable environment for all.

I'm a Canadian living in Bristol, England and I'm currently employed by OVO Energy. I was given the opportunity to work at the Glasgow office so I'd love to be considered as a potential tenant! I love music and travelling and exploring new things.

I'm open-minded and friendly but it's not a party house as I work long hours and we also need to be considerate towards neighbours. LGBTQ+ lodgers are most welcome, as are lodgers of any ethnicity/nationality though we'd need to be able to communicate in English. There's no elevator, so would not suit someone who cannot walk up the stairs to the apartment. I'm fine with vaping in the apartment but smoking is prohibited in the building, so smokers must go outside for that. I can only consider lodgers who don't work from home. You'd provide your own food and, though we may choose to share a meal, there's no expectation either way. We just need to clear up after ourselves. Some days and many evenings I work from home, though in a separate study. This means I'm often not available to socialise but the living room would be available for the lodger's use. I'm a film lecturer, so my job means I sometimes need to choose what to watch on the living room TV, which is wired through an amp to speakers because so I can hear the sound design. If you're looking for three nights per week, the cost is £390 per month with a £390 deposit. If you're looking for four nights per week, the cost is £485 per month with a £485 deposit.
