Communication is key, especially with two people living in a shared space: so the good, the bad, and the ugly (in reverse).
The ugly: my dog is a rescued fighting dog. He is super sweet and is on the older side, so he has chilled out a bit. Unfortunately, there is an introduction process for new people entering the place. Nothing crazy, but just trying to keep people safe and also trying to be completely upfront about it. He is 80 pounds of cuddle once he knows you, so there is that too.
The bad: this could go either way. I like things very neat and clean, and keep my house that way. I also work odd hours and up and about often, not loud, but that could be problematic for a light sleeper. Lastly, the room in question is currently my home office, so I will need some time to get it packed up and ready.
The ugly: there is no ugly!
I am looking for a roommate so that I can reduce some cost. It isn't a "have to do" thing, but I think that most of us are feeling economic pressures lately, so it feels like the right thing to do. I am not looking for a tenant or a friend, but a roommate: that in between thing where we are friendly, cohabitate well, and generally both of our lives and wallets are better for it. As I write this, I keep thinking of things to discuss, but that's probably better left to specifics and direct communication.
