I'm a trans nonbinary guy (afab) looking for other LGBT people to room with in the Terre Haute IN area, since I'm not in a good situation at my current home. I'm okay with moving into an already-established apartment or home but I'm also open to renting a new one together. I must have my own bedroom with a lock. I might be okay with having more than one roommate, but I need a space with a bathroom or half-bath to myself because I have some GI issues and don't want it to be a problem for you. I'm on SSI, which is why I'm not currently able to pay much, but once I move I'll be able to pay $600.
I'm a hobbyist artist and writer, a gamer, and I spend most of my time in my room on my computer, but I also enjoy going outside. I'm quiet, respectful, and I love animals, especially bugs, so if you're afraid of bugs, I'm good at capturing and taking them outside if we happen to find one.
I'm pretty cautious so I'd like us to meet irl at a public place first before jumping into an arrangement. Keep in mind I wear a mask outside to prevent sickness, in case that bothers you, I'd be unmasked at home.
I prefer a reasonably clean space. I'd like to split chores 50/50, personally I'm good at doing dishes. I'm always open to communication and working things out, and I'd like for you to be as well. I think it's a good thing to keep up on expectations and boundaries with each other. We could write something up if it'd help.
