We live Rathfarnham. Our detatched house looks directly onto St Endas park which is home to Pearse Museum and we are a 10 walk to Marley Park. The house has five bedrooms in total and three bathrooms. There are two direct bus routes to the city centre. We have the best of both worlds with direct access to the city centre yet close to the Dublin mountains with lots of parks in our locality!

I live in County Dublin close to the countryside and have hosted many overseas visitors in my spacious 4 bed roomed home.

We are a family of four, that live in a 6 bed house in Stepaside, on the south side of Dublin, with our two sons 21/25 Our home is very close to Three Rock Mountain which we love to explore and the boys love cycling(mountain biking and road) among other outdoor activities . It is also very accessible for the city by luas or bus which is within 8 minute walk. We have a large kitchen with open plan dining room and sitting room. There is a lovely garden and great views all around. Nearby Stepaside, is a very quaint little village which has a rural feel with lovely restaurants, a pub and shops.

I live in a large 3 bed apartment in south County Dublin, a few minutes walk from Cherryood Luas (tram) station. The tram takes approximately 40 minutes to get into the city centre. There are also good transport links to Dun Laoghaire and Wicklow for days out and walks in the mountains or by the sea. There are two bathrooms, a large living area and kitchen space. I have a balcony for the days the sun does appear.

We are situated in a typical village called Lucan situated 20 mins bus ride from Dublin city centre, the area offer the best of Irish country living with the bonus of being located a short distance from Dublin city center. The area of Lucan offers many outdoor activities including the woodland walking trails of St Catherines park and the trails along the infamous River Liffey. Lucan village offers plenty of restaurants and cafe's and Liffeyvalley shopping center is only 5 mins away . Our house is located beside Lucan golf club , there are many country lanes and the area is surrounded by farmland. We are 4 kilometers south of Dublin airport and 6 kilometers from Dublin City The area is serviced with a High frequency public transport system. Guests are supplied with keys and can come and go as they please. The area is quite and tranquil with lots of shopping centers and social outlets within a two minute walk. We are easy to get on with and enjoy chatting with people.

It is 1 km to the local village with all amenities, 3-minute walk to the train station linking to the City Centre in 12-minute; 5-minute walk to a large park (500 acres) with food market each Saturday. 2 kms to the coast and easy access by train to fishing villages with pubs and restaurants, cliff and hill walking, etc. Guests can use the kitchen to prepare their own meals... The S8 bus route is a 8 minute walk from the house. The 16 bus route is a 12 minute walk from the house and goes to the city centre, TCD and Dublin Airport. UCD can also be accessed by a number of bus routes including route 74 later changing on to route S6 or alternatively walking 8 minutes/900 meters to a bus stop for S8 and later changing on to route 46A. Bus route 74 takes approximately 18 minutes to travel from the neighbourhood to the Luas/tram/light rail Green line in Dundrum.
