Our home has a family room, media/game room plus in the backyard is a heated swimming pool, full size basketball net and soccer net. Everything for the active person. There are two bedrooms in the basement available and each room has a comfortable bed, desk, chair, dresser/closet. We speak English and French fluently. We are an active family who loves a variety of sports and doing things outside. Besides the mom, there are two sons: 14yrs (Grade 9) and 9yrs (Grade 4). I have been an international student when I was a teenager and completely understand what it is like to be in a strange country, with strange customs and don't speak the language. I have hosted a student for 3 years recently and have helped him improve his grades, arrange for tutors, taught him how to drive, taken him on a trip to tour universities...and now he is off to his top choice university. :) We are looking to welcoming you to our family. :) If you are older and want more independence, you can choose to not have meals included for a lower monthly rate. There is one parking spot available.

Come stay with us in our beautiful home, in one of the best neighbourhoods in Toronto. The accommodation is a large basement bedroom, with a private bathroom. The bedroom is bright and comfortable with a double bed. There is also a small fridge and microwave. Guests will have access to fast wi-fi. Do note that the ceilings in the basement are lower (6.5ft). Our home is a 15 minute drive from Pearson International Airport, 5 minute walk to Humber College Lakeshore Campus and 2 minute walk to public transportation. It would take 45min to 1hr to take pubic transit downtown. There are lots of restaurants, bars and shops nearby. We keep our home clean and tidy and expect guests to do the same. My partner and I are out-going and social, so we know the city well and can give you great tips on fun places to see. We have two, friendly senior dogs that will welcome you when you arrive! You will share the main entrance with us, so you must be very comfortable with dogs to stay here :) Guests can book for a maximum of 28 days (4 weeks), but it could be possible to extend the stay (please let me know if you might want to extend your stay at the time of booking). Please make sure your Homestay profile is complete and note that guests must book at least 48 hours prior to their planned arrival date. All guests must also provide photo ID prior to arrival. Hey folks! I'm Percy. Small business owner and musician. I live with thom, another musician and chill dude and our third roommate for now, Gareth (and his lovely doggy, Rosie) I'm staying at my dad's place for the next few months while he's away.
