Searching in Bronx, Bronx County, NY
Was always curious about moving to NY! Making decent enough money now with a remote job, so I'd like to try it out. I have visited Brooklyn several times and have friends and family in the area. I tell people that NY, in a very odd way, makes me think of mortality, finality, fate...like there's nowhere else to go from here. But that's good! I kind of love how the city swallows you up; it can feel like it's the entire world. Losing yourself in a good book can give you the same feeling.
I'm a software developer but my heart's always been in the humanities (I once dreamt of becoming a philosophy professor). I enjoy watching and discussing film, especially indie, art house, and weird B movies. I have a miniature dachshund named Wallace, who wins every point for cuteness and none for smarts.
