I value a peaceful, cozy environment and am good at communicating and setting boundaries in a way that keeps things smooth between roommates. I’m reliable when it comes to rent and chores, and I’m mindful of shared spaces—I clean up after myself and try to be considerate of noise and routines. I’m also pretty independent, but I’m always down to chat or hang out if the vibe’s right. I’m hoping to get a cat one day, but it’s definitely not a priority—I’d only do it if it worked for both of us and the space allowed for it.

We lost our apartment when we were in the hospital after an accident, and would like to save more quickly than we would at a hotel. We are trying to quit smoking so would prefer an "outside smoking only", but are open to homes that smoke. My husband is a maintenance manager, I sell crafts. My husband is certified in electrical, HVAC, and carpentry, but also does plumbing and appliance repair on the side. He can fix anything that is home related. We haven't had guests in years, but are fine with others having guests. We're not very picky, as long as we have a room that is all ours to spend our time together.

We are also located centrally, not far from both Algonquin College, and Carleton University. Our unit is located on the second floor of a two-story apartment building. We would be sharing the kitchen, bathroom, living room and dining room. The tenants in the building are quiet, kind, and respectful. There is also garden space in our backyard if you have a green thumb :) Parking is available for an extra $50 per month. There is also a $50 key deposit. Smoking is okay, so long as it is done outside. First and last month’s rent required. Ideally looking for a long-term roommate, but I’m happy to chat with anyone who is interested, as everyone’s situation is different. Room is all-inclusive, including internet and Netflix! The room you would be renting measures 9.2 x 10.6 not including the closet.
