Our space is an open loft style common area with: - a kitchen that has a gas stovetop and oven, dining table, kitchen island, countertops for work/hang out time - 72 inch tv that is connected to Netflix, Youtube, and Hulu. - One bathroom with toilet and shower/tub, one half bath with toilet only. - Lockers in the lobby for check-in/checkout (locks provided for $3), and in the main sleeping area. - 24 hour secure coded entry - staff onsite 24/7 but hours are 10am-11pm. With repurposed decor, we hope you like our community as much as we do!

Based in the heart of the Gaslamp Quarter our property is within walking distance of major tourist sites and it's just steps to the bars, restaurants and night clubs. We are just 5 blocks from the convention center and 15 minute walk to the baseball stadium. Our community is made up of international and domestic travelers, professionals who work in town during the week, convention goers and sometimes military folks looking for adventure off base. Our vibe is relaxed but professional. We have a large kitchen with all the cookware and stuff you need to whip up a meal with dry and refrigerator storage. We have lounge where we have activities 4 days a week and currently a game room (that might be put on hiatus in the summer months), with table shuffleboard and foozball. We clean dorm and private rooms daily and you are welcome to ask for new sheets and towels as you wish. We do not have in-room bathrooms. They are in the hallway and are mixed gender but every toilet and shower is fully enclosed and lockable. We do not allow guests due to the community environment and for safety reasons. We also do not take children or pets and we are a non-smoking/non-vaping facility. And, we are the most instagram-ready hostel in the downtown area with glass atrium ceiling, grand staircase and myriad of plants. As a historically-designated building atop two restaurants, we do not have an elevator and are located on the second and third floors.

Master bedroom is on the other side of the house. The back patio is my favorite part of our home with the most breath taking views of San Diego, the bay and even the ocean. I love to sit outside in the morning with a cup of coffee or in the evenings with a glass of wine. I was born and raised in San Diego and am happy to talk with you and give you recommendations to places to go see or restaurants to try. We like to cook in the evenings most days but our schedules doesn't always allow for it. When we are cooking we will invite you to eat with us if you would like. When my kids were little I used to host all the time. We loved meeting new people from all around the world and to learn about different countries and cultures. We mostly host students that come to San DIego to go to school to better their English. We are looking forward to making new friends and learning about you and your culture as well. The room is spacious with a new luxury bed, dresser. For payment, we do require you pay via Paypal or Venmo prior to your stay.
