We have been providing homestay service for overseas students about 10 years. My husband and I are very nice people and we treat every student as a solid member of our family. We are good at cooking in both western and Asian styles. I love outdoor workouts and I usually invite my students going with me like doing “grouse grind” or “Vancouver Sun Run”. My students are very proud of being a member of our family and they told me that they almost shared their lunch with friends everyday at school because their friends like the yummy food I packed for my students. In addition, we keep our home clean and dust free at any time to make sure everyone in household has a good living environment. Very good location, Langara, RCC, Sir Winston Churchill Secondary School-13 mins; Eric chamber-23mins, Magee-26mins, Point gray-33mins, UBC-45 mins, Emily carr-40mins, T&T Supermarket, Bus loop, Canada Line station and all banks, movie theatre, pharmacy, restaurants- 8 minutes by walking.

A desk, chair and lamp are in your study area. The furnished room is in a family home with a private entrance. The bathroom/shower area, Kitchen & Washer/Dryer will be shared with another person renting another room in the same area of the house. The students have access to their own fully equipped kitchen. You do your own cooking and grocery shopping. A refrigerator and freezer are available to you. Bus stop and Sky train are very close. Close to Lougheed Mall and Coquitlam Center Mall, Simon Fraser University (SFU), FIC & Douglas College. We are in Port Moody close to Burnaby. (College Park area) Park with walking trails across the street. Beautiful mountain and water view in a safe quiet area. Utilities and internet included. Our home is close to SFU/FIC & Douglas College - bus ride from in front of our house to SFU is 30 minutes. The rent is $1000 Canadian per month. The damage/security deposit in the amount of $1,000 Canadian is due to secure the room.

I'm looking for a homestay to share my apartment with for $1,400/month. Available until November 30, 2023. Minimum 31 days stay. *I'm super open to having another dog in the apartment given that they are fully house-trained and have a non-aggressive history. Room: South facing along Broadway Approx 9x10 with a closet Comes furnished with a queen sized bed and shelving unit - if you have a bed, I am happy to get rid of the one that's already there :) Apartment: The entire apartment is an open concept 937 square feet, with an enclosed balcony. - ensuite washer and dryer - located near skytrain stations: Nanaimo Station and Commercial Station - I have a 4 year old dog who is a shy but very tender boy. He unfortunately sheds enough for 2 dogs, but I regularly vacuum to keep on top of it. - the photos are older, so the furniture has been changed up a bit Me: Student, Female, POC, 36. I don't smoke, and have a warm personality. Rather introverted when at home, but I value building a healthy and communicative relationship with my roommate. I spend quite a bit of time studying (all from home at the moment due to COVID). Other than that, I climb, hike, spend time with my friends when I can, love to cook and eat, and hang out with the dog a lot. I'm progressive in my views, and am hoping for a roommate who is as well.

We are a family of Six. We have one daughter and one son. Our Childrens are attending Elementary School . We speak Cantonese, Mandarin and English at home. We Love Foods, and we own a catering company. We love sports. We are good at skiing, skating, badminton, etc. The bus stop is One minutes work from the house and easy access by public trans to SFU. Walking distance to Como Lake. The SkyTrain, shopping center, library, sports complex are all 10 minutes by bus. The point is the Dr. Charles Best Secondary School, 6 minutes by bus or 15 minutes by walking. Family of four in four storey, century old character home in East Vancouver with view of Burrard Inlet and North Shore mountains. You will be staying in our newly built, garden level, two bedroom suite with eight foot ceilings huge south and north facing windows as well as patios. Heated floors, in suite laundry, freestanding gas fireplace, all new appliances. Dinner with the family is optional at extra cost. You have your own kitchen. We are an omnivorous family who love our vegeables and love to cook and prepare divinely inspired fresh food. In the summer we grow much of our own produce in our backyard. One beloved dog also lives with us upstairs. There is a fully equipped Pilates studio in our home and MANY musical instruments. Music and movement is our livelihood. We love to travel. English is the main language spoken in our home but we also speak French fluently. In the summer we enjoy eating dinner outside and often invite neighbours at the last minute. We are an active family who do our best to infuse our life with Yoga, Vedic philosophy, music and joy.
