Welcome to our home in Ashbourne! We are a warm, friendly family living in a safe and pleasant residential neighbourhood in Ashbourne, Co. Meath — just north of Dublin. Our home is comfortable, welcoming and ideal for students who are looking for a supportive, English-speaking environment during their stay in Ireland. We are a family of four — mum, dad, and our two children, Thomas (7) and Alice (6). We enjoy spending time together, reading books, playing games, and going for walks. We have experience hosting students before and always do our best to make guests feel relaxed, supported, and part of our family. English is spoken at home, and we are happy to help students practice their English in everyday situations. We offer a clean, peaceful home, laundry facilities, and a cosy space for study and rest. Ashbourne is a friendly town with local shops, cafés, parks, and good transport links to Dublin and the airport. It is a safe, calm place for students to live while studying, working, or exploring Ireland. We look forward to welcoming students into our home! Activities / Local Info Ashbourne has parks, local cafés, a cinema, sports clubs, and is close to Emerald Park (amusement and wildlife). There are regular bus services to Dublin city centre and the airport. We enjoy family activities and often explore local places — students are always welcome to join if they’d like!

I am a professional working in Dublin city centre. I have a lovely cosy house within easy access to the city centre, with a bright single room to rent. Lovely south-facing garden and off-street parking available. The house is a three-minute walk from the Luas tram stop and is within easy access to the city centre and many of Dublin's colleges/universities.

Large family home, close to excellent transport links to both the city centre and the sea side. I have two large double bedrooms (single occupancy) to rent. Downstairs, I have a large sitting room at the front of the house, a second smaller sitting room adjacent and a very large kitchen-diner looking out onto the garden. The garden is west facing, so during the summer months we have the sun here from mid morning until late evening and there's plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy an al fresco dinner! I'm very friendly, and would offer as much help as possible during your stay, be it about Dublin or great places to visit in Ireland. I'll do my best to ensure your stay in Dublin is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

I live in Celbridge a small picturesque town 30min west of Dublin city it's serviced by a good bus/ train service. I'm 10mins drive to Intel and H.P. I share my 3 bedroom home with my dog Millie, we love to walk and are blessed with having Castletown Estate on our doorstep beautiful walks by the river liffey, the canal is on the outskirts also lovely for walking or cycling. Maynooth University is a 15min bus ride. I work as a School bus escort for St, Raphael Special School, I lovely my job I find it very rewarding. I have 3 grown-up children all settled in life and living close by they have blessed me with 6 gorgeous grandchildren. I love to keep fit and am a member of a local Health Centre. Also love to travel.

Our house is at the bottom of the Dublin Mountains and has convenient 24 hr bus routes to the city centre and direct bus routes to Trinity College, University College Dublin and Tallaght University Dublin. The house is a 4 bedroomed house and your room is a large bright airy double room. I have two daughters 13yrs and 18yrs and a dog! We have a bright modern kitchen and an open plan living area, there is also a downstairs toilet. You will be sharing the main bathroom with my daughters. We love music and my daughter plays piano. Our area is very friendly and safe with a good selection of local shops and amenities.

You would be able to use the kitchen to prepare meals. All utilities are included and you would share the main bathroom with 1 other. The house is large enough to afford you privacy, and we both come and go as we work part-time. If you are a mature student or a young professional relocating to Dublin for work and want to ease yourself into finding more long term accommodation as you find your feet this would be perfect for you. We live in our lovely home 4km from Dublin city centre. We are a family of five, two parents and three children aged 6,8 and 10. The family have bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs and the Homestay room is a large double bedroom with its own TV and separate bathroom downstairs. The house is open plan with a kitchen, dining and sitting room area opening out to the garden. We are 1km from the DART station (local city train) and within 600m from numerous buses going to the city and other places. We live close to St Annes Park which is a beautiful large enclosed park as-well as Dollymount beach. We love to travel and are always happy to host new people.

My husband and I live here with our two dogs. We live in a lovely, quiet and peaceful suburb called Artane. Artane is very accessible to the city centre only 10 - 15 mins by bus. There is a Dart Station is just a 10-minute walk away, and also many bus routes will bring you to town. We are an ideal homestay for students who are attending Trinity, DBS, DIT, and many other colleges in Dublin. Artane Castle shopping centre only a 10-minute walk from the house where there are all of the stores like Lidl, Penneys, Tesco and Aldi. Northside shopping centre is 20-minute walk clothes shops, Dunnes Stores, Heaton and McDonalds. Malahide Castle only 10-minute bus journey from the house. Similarly, St Anne's Park is about 15 minutes of walking from the house. I'd love to host a student for college term or someone who would be relocating to work. We are a family with 2 daughters who have hosted international and Irish students for 12 years. We live on a quiet street across the road from a park and 5 mins walk to bus stop for city centre and Maynooth. Lucan is 12 km from the city with a good bus service. There is a large shopping centre with cinemas restaraunts and shops 5 mins away on the bus. We have a single room, wardrobes , wooden floor, blinds & curtains. Fully equiped kitchen available.

I live in a spacious very centrally located modern house in Ranelagh, Dublin 6. I am, 20 minutes walk from the city centre (Stephens Green) & 3 minutes from 2 Luas stops (Ranelagh & Charlemont); on the 46a/11/145 bus route for UCD & on a direct bus route from the airport (700 blue bus to Upr Leeson street). My house is on a quiet leafy street close to the canal & 3 minutes walk from Ranelagh village (through a park) with shops, cafes and restaurants. You have the use of a private guest sitting room as well as your bedroom. The guest sitting room has a kitchenette with sink, fridge freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster. I am right beside the Luas lines,the electric tram is not too loud and stops around 12 am. No longterm stays or rentals. ONE person only per room.
