We are a family of 4, 2 kids (7 & 9 years old), no pets. We live in a big beautiful house close to parks, library and community center (for swimming, gym, basketball, tennis courts etc). Meals provided (breakfast, lunch, dinner) and we can negotiate if you want only breakfast and dinner. The room will all furniture you need (bed, desks, closets, side table etc). Wifi included. We are looking for a quiet, respectful and clean female occupant (student or working professional).

My family and I live in a quiet and safe residential neighborhood in South Burnaby. We have been hosting students since 2007. My husband and I have two kids, one 14-year-old and one 12-year-old. We value safety, cleanliness, kindness and respect in our home. We have two rooms available for students located in the main floor. Beside the two rooms is a full bathroom solely used by students. We only host female students. Each room has a single bed, drawer, closet, hutch/ study table, study lamp, and window. Our location is: *3 minutes walk to the bus stop *12 minutes walk to Edmonds Skytrain Station *35 minutes by skytrain to Downtown Vancouver *walking distance to park, Tommy Douglas Library, Highgate Village, Edmonds Community Center We charge $1200 every month, including wi-fi, TV, full laundry once a week, breakfast and dinner. We ask the students to keep their rooms and common areas tidy. Students must clean after themselves. Sleep over are not allowed. We ask the students to ask us first if it is ok to invite a friend/ classmate.

Beautiful quiet two story town home located on the sea wall in False Creek Central Vancouver near Granville Island and Downtown Vancouver. Only a .5km walk to Granville Island and a 20 minute walk to downtown or a 10 minute bus ride to downtown. 20 minute bus ride to UBC Granville Island is a full of all kinds of vendors that sell everything from fruits & vegetables, to fresh seafood and baked goods. There is a local Brewery where you can sample some of the best Micro Beers in the world. All kinds of great restaurants & Pubs with live entertainment, plus the Arts Club Theatre where you can see all kinds of different performances, plays, musicians Etc. Enjoy Street performers, musicians, and check out glass blowing. There is a Culinary Arts School (Chef school) where you can sample the students full course meals by reservation for a much lower price than what a traditional restaurant would charge. There is an Aqua Bus (water boat) that will take you anywhere in the harbor, across to downtown and English Bay. You can even take the train to the north end of downtown then the Seabus (which is part of the transit system) over to the Lonsdale Key market in North Vancouver. Honestly this is the best location to be in Vancouver. You are close to everything and there are bus stops within one block that will take you anywhere you need to go quickly and easily. The Sky train station is only a ten minute walk from here which can take you to and from the airport in approximately 30 minutes and downtown within minutes. Steps away is Granville Island, Downtown, a small harbor with boats and of course the Sea wall. The view from the front door and kitchen is spectacular. The Garden room comes fully furnished with two closets, big desk and comfy chair, a high quality solid memory foam full sized bed with clean sheets, pillows/cases and blankets for some incredibly comfortable sleeps. The room is also equipped with bedside table a Lamp, a magazine rack and a full length mirror. All guests have use of all common areas including use of Fridge, Stove, Dishes, Pots/pans, Utensils, TV, Bathroom, and Laundry Facilities/Washer & Dryer. Also included is Free High Speed Internet. When visiting Vancouver I highly recommend staying near Granville Island as it really is the best place to get a real flavor of true Vancouver life. I work in the travel industry and enjoy meeting people from around the world. I enjoy learning foreign languages and reading and will be more than happy to give you some tips to enjoy your stay in Vancouver and your visits to Granville Island. Anita enjoys travel, cooking, learning foreign languages, music, festivals, reading, socializing, and nature. She speaks English, Slovenian and some Spanish. Room is for minimum 3 months up to one year. Usually on the 1st of the month as a move in date and can be negotiated.
