Hi there! My name is Sara and I am a postdoctoral psychologist in Midtown, Manhattan. I’m a first generation college student who grew up on Long Island, NY, and I’ve recently relocated back to New York after completing my schooling and training in Chicago and Baltimore.
I’m currently looking to lease or sublease an apartment in Manhattan, Brooklyn or Queens by April 2026 (with the possibility of a year’s lease or longer). The closer commute to Midtown, the better. I generally prefer maintaining a lowkey, relatively clean and warm home environment, although I love a good laugh and hangout. I am open to roommates and would prefer those around my age range, and I am capable of furnishing a shared living room/dining area (tv included, go nuts lol). One important thing about living with me: I provide therapy to patients in a hybrid model, meaning that I would need to work from home mostly undisturbed when WFH during working hours. I have a way of indicating when I’m seeing a patient via a sound machine and a door sign. :)
I’d otherwise describe myself as a sociable introvert who enjoys spending time with people in the city, creative crafts, playing cozy videogames (e.g. Stardew valley, Pokemon, Kirby, Animal Crossing, Fields of Mistria, etc.), and reading and writing romance stories.
