The good roommate laws: Don’t leave a dish in the sink for longer than 12 hours. Always offer any leftover food to your roommates if you don’t eat it. (Not mandatory but it sure is pleasant) Don’t start dating someone awful and have them stay at your house 24/7. Do not have your partner practically move in without prior discussion. Don’t throw a party without asking your other roommates if it’s okay first. Don’t steal your roommates food without asking. Take turns cleaning the bathroom, kitchen, etc. Don’t leave it all to one roommate. Don’t get a dog without asking your roommates first. If you get a dog, make sure you train it well. Also take care of your own dog, don’t leave it to your roommates to do. Always pay your bills on time. State your issues instead of being passive aggressive. Never yell at your roommate. Always greet your roommate with a pleasant attitude.
