I'll be starting as an architectural designer downtown and looking for housing in University District, Wallingford or Upper Queens Ave. A bit about me: I'm 25, just finished my Master's in Urban Design, originally from India but spent the last couple years on the East Coast. I'm clean, respectful of shared spaces, and pretty easy-going. I don't have a car (by choice!) so I'm all about that public transit life - need to be near light rail for my commute downtown. What I'm looking for: Ideally a room in a 2-3 bedroom place with chill roommates. Budget around $900-1200. I'd love to find people who are down for cooking together sometimes, keeping the place tidy, and just having a good living situation. Outside of work, I love exploring new neighborhoods (especially by transit!), trying different coffee shops, and I'm pretty into sustainable living. Hello! Im a nerdy software gal who loves snuggling up in a soft blanket with my two kitties and getting lost in a good book. I haven't had roommates in a while, but I love cleaning my small home on the weekends as a sort of reset before starting the week. I cook a bit, but mostly I've been trying to become healthier 😅 so there is lots of rice and chicken or beef at the moment. I love video games, enjoy exploring new bars, and have a tiny projector that I play quiet lofi or jazz on throughout the day. Honestly, to a fault at times. 😝 Laundry by far has to be my favorite cleaning/ Organizing thing to do. Literally from the start of separating the clothes, to adding all the smell goods! ALL the way to the very end of folding and putting them away! (Yes, I know, I'm a weird one! 🤪 lol but in a good way though of course!) Anyhow, I also like to have my quiet alone time. AKA when I like to listen to music, and let my "Artsy-Fartsy" side come out. Drawing, Writing, Coloring, Painting, and even Bedazzling/ Decorating everyday items to make them Unique and my own. Putting my own twist on Everything! Hmmm... Let's see, what else to tell about myself? I don't want to forget anything, because I would rather put it all out on the table now so there's no surprises lol. And you can have a pretty good idea of what kind of person I am now, before I move in. 😝 I LOVE all animals! I'm like the "Community Pet-Nanny" in my groups of friends because I'm always going out of my way to check on/ take care of everyone elses pets. (Even though I do have a beautiful female cat of my own 😼 And she is a handful, that is way too smart for her own good! And is constantly keeping me on my toes and pushing my buttons to see how much she can get away with! 😸 But I LOVE her so much!! 🖤) I'm an "Undercover Nerd" I graduated Highschool with a 3.95. Because I Love learning! And that's why I'm planning on going back to school in the fall. Because I truly miss it! At the moment, I am "Self-Employed" Basically means that I do odd jobs that are listed on Craigslist and Marketplace. Which mainly includes Cleaning, Organizing, and some Yard work jobs. But I'm starting to try more difficult jobs, and trying to learn how to do a bigger variety of jobs as well. Because eventually one day hopefully sooner than later, I would like to be a "Handy-Woman" lol 👩💪 Is the easiest way to describe it. At least until I get back into school and Finally get my career started. I have a few different career ideas in mind right now, but not one hundred percent settled onto just one yet. 😁

Our beautifully updated home is nestled in the centre of Shoreline (North Seattle), close to shopping (Town and Country, Trader Joes, and Safeway), restaurants, live entertainment, Shoreline Community College, brand new light rail stations, biking trails, and a multiple parks. We will keep the space stocked with basic necessities, toilet paper, towels, etc. But we will also keep some food stocked in the fridge and pantry for the guest to enjoy during their stay, in addition to light breakfast fare. Our home consists of our 15-year-old Son Dylan (Learning French) and is an avid runner, a 12-year-old Daughter Giuliana (Learning Japanese), who plays softball, and LOVES cats (we have 2 cats and a dog- the dog stays downstairs with us), and a 3 year old Son Liam, my husband Taylor who is a professional chef, and I (Leah). We own a local restaurant which keeps us busy, but we love to host and cook for people. Our family will stay in the basement (and backyard) portion of the home with our own living amenities. But would love to share a daily meal with our guests (we would use the main Chef's kitchen upstairs for this meal, bring it already prepared, or dine at the restaurant, but would love to dine with our guest(s)). We have two furnished bedrooms (One queen-size bed, and one full-size bed) both with locked doors. Available for female tenants (18 and over) only. Both have a desk and chair, lamp, dresser, and closet. There is a shared kitchen, bathroom, TV room, sitting, and dining area -indoor and outdoor. We have a small grassed front yard and garden, and a brand-new deck with an outdoor dining table and grill. We do have a laundry room in the basement that we can coordinate the usage of since we have the dog downstairs, or there is a laundromat nearby. As a family we love going to the beach, to parks, having bonfires in our backyard, watching movies, and going for hikes and would gladly welcome you to join us on any of these adventures.
