I'm single and I'm cool with SO's visiting/staying overnight but if they're keeping their stuff at our place and basically living in the shared space without paying rent or utilities that doesn't work for me. Loud parties are also not super awesome but if its a few times a month and stops when the bars close I'd be ok with it as long as there was no illegal activity. I don't drink anymore so it would be nice if my roommate wasn't a heavy alcoholic either.
