Longer explanation I’m Jillian. I’m currently tucked away in the mountains of Virginia and looking to start over in NYC — somewhere in Brooklyn, Queens, or the Bronx that gives me room to grow and be myself.
I have a B.S. in psychology and I’m working toward an M.S. in computer science, so I’m job-hunting and figuring out the logistics of relocating. My timing is flexible, but I’m aiming to move once work and housing line up.
Personality-wise, I’m artistic, eccentric, and pretty low-drama. I’m more “music and art projects at home” than parties, I clean up after myself, and I respect shared spaces. I’ll be bringing my black cat, Dahlia — she’s indoor-only and mostly a sleepy window-sill goblin.
I’m looking in the $1,250-ish/month range and mostly inquiring to see what options are out there. I know I’ll probably need a roommate for at least the first 6 months while I get oriented, and then my long-term goal is to find a small place of my own.
