Before I started to live here in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, I've lived in Manhattan, Queens, Bronx, and different part of Brooklyn. This spot is conveniently located in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn and it's within a minute from Subway and buses. 15 minutes subway ride to Downtown Manhattan. The nearest subway station is J Line Gates Avenue. I've been renting this space in the basement since 2012. Supermarket is in the same block, drug store (Walgreen), post office and gym (Blink Fitness) are one block away. Totally private entrance and private bathroom. The room is furnished with queen size bed with memory form mattress, refrigerator, small desk, closet, etc. I have a small Pomeranian dog and great place for dog lovers. Large kitchen, living/dining space are shared. High speed Wi-Fi, Verizon Fios Gigabit connection is the fastest available internet in my area. Large chest freezer available so you can stock up a lot of food and save money. Air fryer for quick and healthy cooking. I am a little health fanatic who is into organic foods, healthy cooking, organic cleaning and natural way of living. I think my best traits are my kind heart and open mind. My hobbies are listening to podcasts, reading, play with my loving Pomeranian dog, etc. I like to wake up early and look at morning sunlight while walking my dog. I train my dog everyday not bark too loud with full of excitement but it is often difficult for him because of his nature. I want future roommates to understand this fact.

Hi there! I’m looking for one person to take over two rooms in a 3 story walk up Bushwick apartment. If you are looking for extra space for a home office, creative work space, storage, walk in closet…this could be for you! Both rooms are stacked on top of each other, have 2 feet deep closets, and can fit queen size beds. The two available rooms are pictured above. One currently is being used as a living room, the other as an office. I have included an unfurnished picture of the rooms as the layout might be a bit difficult to envision. The apartment is located between the M and L lines. The M is about a 4-5 minute walk away and the L is about a 6-10 minute walk. There is a 24 hour grocery store on the closest corner, a Blink Fitness Gym 30 seconds away, and a bunch of cafes, restaurants, and night life in the area if you enjoy going out! There is no in unit/building laundry, but there are many laundromats around the corner in just about every direction. It is important to me to live with someone who is clean and respectful! We are of Haitian origin and speak both French and Creole. Our house is located in Valley Stream Long Island, which is in a quiet suburb of New York. We have a very comfortable guest bedroom located in our finished basement for use. There is a seperate side entrance to the basement so he/she can come in and out of the house at their leisure. We also have a newly renovated backyard deck for those nice, warm, sunny days. We are approximately 30 minutes from Manhattan (by train) which is centrally located within walking distance. Our sons recently became very interested in helping me host, as our friend recently had an exchange student for a year and explained what a valuable experience this was for her and her family.
