I get social security disability for life and its a little more than $1,200/month and I also got a lawsuit pending and have court May 7th 2025 for an offer. That will be any were from $15,000 - $30,000. So I will be fine for a while. I am also in the process of getting a job. I'm currently a mid level manager at Uhaul, with a masters degree in business (MBA) from the University of Maryland; however, I'm looking to move to Alexandria to get access to more management positions inside the DC beltway. I'm a former Army National Guardsman and was a defense contractor for 15 years doing database management, with one tour in Afghanistan as a contractor. I've been slowly transitioning to non-government work as a civilian and feel I will have better opportunities inside the beltway than my current location in Fredericksburg, VA. This is why I'm shopping for a rented room in Alexandria. I'm super chill and drama free. I picked up a new hobby of investing, so I'm a super-saver and don't do DC nightlife like I did when I was younger. As a result, I do a lot of FREE activities such as hiking, working out, walking, jogging, and watching documentaries on TV or YouTube.
