Jason is Looking for a House to Rent

Hello Sir or Ma'am, I'm Jason, a 51 year old retired ARMY Veteran (3 Combat tours in Iraq) I came to Illinois just a few weeks ago with the goal of eventually utilizing my Veterans Home Loan to buy a house here. I'm from Arizona, not only is the heat unbearable, home prices have increased about 150% over the last two years. I'm single, I have three amazing, grown children. My Daughter lives in Illinois my other two California. I would like to rent a room, small apartment or house for probably 6-12 months while I continue improving my credit score and saving money for my future home purchase. I have some combat related physical disabilitys but am fully self sufficient and functional. I'm super easy going, respectful and friendly. No drug use, no evictions or foreclosures in my past. I will be attending a community college to finish up my Associates Degree and possibly volunteering some of my free time to work with other combat veterans.
