Welcome to Homestay! Accommodations for any type of travel are available. It’s important to note, I am new to this site as of August 2024 but have owned and operated this property since 2017. As of 2025, a decision was made to only use this portal for bookings. The home is clean and welcoming—even curtains & baseboards are attended to after a guest leaves to ensure the new arrival guest has a very clean and comfortable space. The room rental in the house often feels like a retreat. No curfews exists and you get cooking privileges 24/7. We have several hospitals and private airports nearby. Many medical professionals stay here. Pilots are also welcome if working long triage shifts at the local heliports. This single family country home sits on 1.5 acres. The BLUE MOUNTAIN BIKE PARK/SKI RESORT and APPALACHIAN TRAIL are nearby with many outdoor opportunities for year-round recreation. (Trivia 101: Pennsylvania is home to 229 of the most picturesque miles on the Appalachian Trail.) Local hiking spots become a haven for photographers. In contrast, Independence Hall in historic Philadelphia is 80 miles south—a great place for any “country mouse” to become a “city mouse” for the day.
