Rebecca Has a House for Rent

We are a family with two young children who love to meet new people from around the world. We live on a small island in the Southern Moreton Bay region. Macleay Island is the perfect place to slow down and enjoy the simple things in life. The Island is home to approx. 3500 residents, & is located a 15 minute ferry ride from Redland Bay, and only 1 hour from Brisbane by bus. Though our little island home is small, there is plenty to explore & see, from the art gallery, weekend markets, amazing gelato shop, to bike riding, fishing, kayaking, boating etc. We love to learn about other cultures and share our own, so you are welcome to spend as much time as you want with us & immerse yourself into Aussie family life. Our kids are very energetic & love imaginary play, nature, swimming, beach hangs & crafting activities. We offer a twin share room that can host two travellers, students. (2 x single beds). Come with a friend, partner. We love to cook & eat together as a family. If you are interested in eating with us, full board (3 meals per day) can be provided at an additional cost of $150 per week.
