
iROOMit® App and Website Cancellation and Refund Policy
Effective Date: 08/10/2025
This Cancellation and Refund Policy governs all purchases made through the iROOMit® platform, including the mobile application (iOS and Android) and the iROOMit website. By making any purchase on iROOMit, you agree to this policy in full.
1. Membership Overview
All upgrade to VIP and membership purchases are 100% personal Volunteers and consent
Basic Membership on iROOMit® is free. Basic Members may create listings, browse profiles, and send direct messages.
To read incoming messages, access real-time chat, or use video, an upgrade to VIP Membership is required.
All VIP Memberships provide access only; they do not guarantee results, responses, conversions, or matches of any kind.
2. VIP Membership Pricing
Roommates:
- 7-Day Trial: $7.99 (recurring)
- 30-Day Access: $19.99 (recurring)
- 60-Day Access: $27.99 (one-time)
- 90-Day Access: $37.99 (one-time)
Landlords & All Hosts:
- 7-Day Trial: $11.99 (recurring)
- 30-Day Access: $29.99 (recurring)
- 60-Day Access: $39.99 (one-time)
- 90-Day Access: $49.99 (one-time)
All Prices and Charges are USD
Recurring plans renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal. One-time memberships do not renew.
iROOMit® may offer promotional discounts from time to time at its discretion.
All payments are final and non-refundable.
3. User Responsibility & Service Expectations
By upgrading to any VIP Membership or purchasing ID Verification and/or a Credit Report, you acknowledge that:
- You assume full responsibility for all payments.
- You agree to all terms and policies in this document.
- You understand that iROOMit® provides access, not guaranteed outcomes.
iROOMit® does NOT guarantee or promise any specific result, including but not limited to:
- Conversions, leads, inquiries, or traffic
- Matches, roommate connections, or successful housing outcomes
- Message responses or ongoing conversations
- Activity, availability, or behavior of other users
- Results related to rooms, apartments, shared housing, co-living, partnerships, or roommate searches
- Outcomes depend entirely on factors outside iROOMit’s control, such as user participation, preferences, location, availability, compatibility, and market conditions.
- Because results vary, no refunds will be issued for:
- Lack of matches
- Lack of conversations
- Lack of leads or conversions
- Low engagement
- Unsuccessful housing search
- Any perceived lack of platform results
Once payment is completed, ALL SALES ARE FINAL AND NON-REFUNDABLE, without exception. All actions, interactions, communications, and arrangements are your full responsibility. iROOMit assumes no liability for any experiences resulting from user-to-user engagement.
4. Auto-Renewal & Cancellation Requirements
To avoid being charged for future billing cycles:
- Auto-renewal plans must be canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
- Plans not canceled on time do not qualify for refunds under any circumstances.
- Users must cancel subscriptions on the same platform where the purchase was originally made.
- Failure to cancel on time does not entitle the user to a refund.
Verification status is not automatically granted with VIP Membership—ID Verification requires successful approval by third-party providers.
5. Platform-Specific Purchase Rules
Apple App Store Purchases iROOMit® cannot modify, cancel, refund, or override Apple billing. Users must request cancellations or refunds directly from Apple, subject to Apple’s Terms of Service.
Google Play Store Purchases,
Same policy as Apple. All cancellations and refund requests must be submitted directly to Google under Google’s Terms of Service. Website Purchases (Stripe Billing) All web purchases are final. No refunds, prorated credits, partial refunds, or exceptions will be provided. Users are solely responsible for canceling their subscription before renewal.
To cancel: Visit your Dashboard, or Email hello@iroomit.com at least one hour before the renewal time. Stripe sends automated renewal reminders three days before renewal. VIP access remains active until the end of the paid period, even if the user cancels early.
6. Multiple Accounts
Users must sign in using the same login method each time (email, Google, Facebook, Apple, etc.).
If you create multiple accounts, each profile is treated as a separate account.
If a VIP subscription exists on one account, the user must log into that same account to manage or cancel it.
iROOMit® holds no responsibility for charges incurred due to multiple accounts, duplicate logins, or user confusion.
No refunds will be issued in these cases.
7. Deactivated vs. Cancelled Accounts
Deactivating an account does not cancel an active subscription.
If a user deactivates but does not cancel:
- Billing continues.
- No refunds will be granted.
The user is fully responsible for canceling their subscription manually. iROOMit® is not liable for charges on deactivated accounts that were not properly cancelled.
8. UK Consumers – Additional Legal Rights
UK residents may cancel their first VIP Membership purchase within 14 days under the legal “cooling-off period.”
Because you agreed to immediate service access, refunds within the 14-day period will be pro-rated for the unused portion only.
After 14 days, no refunds are available.
Purchases made through Apple or Google must be cancelled and refunded directly through their platforms.
Website purchases eligible for prorated refund will be issued to the original payment method within 14 days.
9. No Guarantees, No Promises, No Liability
iROOMit® provides access to tools, visibility, and platform features — not guaranteed results.
By using the platform, you understand and agree that:
- Outcomes are not guaranteed.
- Results depend solely on user behavior, activity, and external factors.
- iROOMit® is not liable for any losses, disputes, arrangements, agreements, or interactions arising between users.
10. Acceptance of Policy
By purchasing any plan, using the platform, or maintaining an active subscription, you acknowledge and fully accept:
- All terms in this Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Responsibility for managing your subscription
- That all purchases are final and non-refundable
Continued use of the platform constitutes ongoing agreement with these terms.
