Searching in Folsom, CA
🏡 Roommates Wanted — Antelope/Citrus Heights | February 2027 Move-In
Hi! 👋 I’m looking for potential roommates for a February 2027 move-in in the Antelope/Citrus Heights area. I’m starting the search early so we have plenty of time to find the right people and eventually find a place that works for everyone!
👥 Household
* Looking for a household of up to 4 people total
* Couples are welcome!
* I’m looking for a respectful, comfortable, and friendly household where everyone can feel at home.
💰 Rent, Utilities & Deposit
* I’m comfortable paying up to $800/month in rent, before utilities.
* Everyone in the household will share the utilities.
* Utilities will be split fairly among everyone living in the home.
* If someone has significantly higher usage — for example, needing the AC running 24/7 or leaving TVs/electronics on constantly — we can discuss adjusting the split fairly to account for that extra usage.
* This applies to everyone, including me! There are no double standards. ☺️
* We will also share/split the security deposit fairly.
🐱 My Cats
I have 2 strictly indoor cats.
* They cannot be allowed outside, so doors need to be kept closed.
* Depending on the size/layout of my room, I may be able to keep them in my room when I’m not home.
* I will personally pay their pet deposit and any additional pet rent.
* Those costs would be on top of the $800 I’m willing to contribute toward rent.
🎨 Shared Spaces
I’d really like a household where everyone gets to participate in decorating the shared spaces.
I want our common areas to feel like a home that belongs to everyone, rather than one person deciding everything.
Of course, your bedroom/own personal space is completely yours to decorate however you want!
⚠️ Allergies & Kitchen Boundaries — Important
I have severe vanilla and shellfish allergies, so I need potential roommates to be comfortable respecting these boundaries.
🦐 Shellfish cannot be kept in the house. I’m sorry if that’s a dealbreaker, but this is something I cannot compromise on.
🍦 Vanilla can be kept in the house, but I need to avoid contact with it because of my allergy.
🍽️ Please do not touch, use, or handle my dishes at all. I would like my dishes to be completely separate and for everyone to use their own dishes.
If you have a serious allergy yourself, I want us to respect each other’s safety. That could mean keeping certain foods out of the house or keeping separate dishes/cooking supplies for those foods. If someone has their own kitchen items they don’t want anyone else using, that’s completely okay — I expect the same respect in return. :)
📅 Timeline
Target move-in: February 2027
I’m starting to look now in August because I’d rather find good potential roommates early and have plenty of time to get to know each other, figure out everyone’s needs/budget, and then look for a place together closer to the move-in date.
If you’re interested, feel free to message me! I’d love to get to know you and see if we’d be a good household fit. 🏡💕
