I am young IT professional from the Czech Republic, heart of Europe. I will be moving to the US in November 2025 to start living my American Dream as a winner of Diversity Visa lottery. As part of my immigration process, I will be (hopefully) granted permanent residence status through a green card, allowing me to access US banking services, establish credit and start working in the country. However, the administrative processing can take a few months after my arrival to the US, therefore I won't be able to present neither green card nor US credit or bank account upon the arrival to the US. My background is being an IT specialist, with mainframe middleweare technology experience. I have been working in this field for 5 years in the Czech Republic, I had a privilege to work in the IBM Corporation in the past and now I continue working in the Czech branch of US based Kyndryl Holdings company as mainframe middleware specialist. However, as I will be moving out of the Czech Republic, I will need some time in the US to land new employment. I am currently seeking short-term accommodation that would enable me to settle in the US, enabling me to complete necessary paperwork, find a job and maybe join a college to build on my educational experiences by pursuing higher degree of study. As I won't have all documents ready when arriving to the US (Green card, social security number, US bank account nor US credit score), I am prepared to pay upfront for a few months of rent to prove my ability to satisfy my rent obligations.
