I am quite literally a trainwreck emotionally, I'm a decent person with a huge heart. My dog is literally my lifeline, and without him, I have absolutely zero idea where'd I'd be. But he is quite literally the only reason I wake up every day. He's great with children, I have no idea about cats he hasn't been in a house that has cats. He is iffy on men, unless I'm there. I'm a homebody so if I'm home I'd be in my room the whole time pretty much either watching netflix or just cuddling with my dog. He's crated while I work due to separation anxiety, he barks but I'm working on that.
