We enjoy welcoming visitors from all over the world. Our comfortable house is an easy 15 minute walk from Canterbury city centre and 10 minutes from Canterbury East station, with regular trains to London and Dover. Family meal/packed lunch and English lessons, (qualified teacher), available on request, (with notice). We are happy to spend time getting to know guests if they want to, or allow people their own space. We are also happy to recommend our favourite shops, cafes and attractions. We are hosting shorter stays (weekends/two-four days) at the moment and longer stays from October 2024. Our accommodation particularly suits students, people on weekend stays or on English language or other study trips in Canterbury. We have just re-opened our listing (April 2024) after a pause of 5 years

Located in the centre of South Kensington, the flat is fully managed by our professional management team. South Kensington underground station is a stone's throw away as is Hyde Park, Knightsbridge, the Natural History Museum and Harrods.

Hello my name is Mike and my wife's name is Marion. We would like to welcome you to our lovely house. We live in a quiet village and our children are now at University. We are well placed for travelling by car to either Newcastle (50mins), Durham City (25mins) or Darlington (20mins) and we live on the edge of Weardale where there are miles of unspoilt countryside to explore. We are only 3.5 miles from Bishop Auckland, which is the nearest place for shopping and is also host to the Kynren event, which is being held every summer from 2016. Parking is on road (free) and you can usually get parked next to the house. I am retired now and my wife is still working as a landscape gardener. Occasionally our children are home to stay. We also have 4 cats! They are friendly and are very inquisitive of new people, so prepared to have a cat or cats investigate you. We are a friendly, relaxed couple who enjoy cooking and baking, so there are usually home made biscuits or cakes in the kitchen! We have a spacious spare single room available which looks over the countryside to the rear of the house. There is a comfortable bed, chair, desk and bookshelves. The family bathroom with separate shower is just next door. We have a large kitchen, separate dining room and a sitting room with a lovely open fire in the colder weather. There are smoke and carbon monoxide detectors throughout the house. There are also fire extinguishers, for your reassurance and safety. Marion is a qualified first aider and we also have a first aid kit in the house. We will provide a light breakfast set at the table but are also happy to cook a full breakfast for a small extra charge by prior arrangement. Do let us know if you have a dietary requirement, or if you are happy to eat the same things as we eat. Outside there is a sunny courtyard where you can have breakfast on sunny mornings or just read a book and enjoy the peace and tranquility with a cuppa and while away the hours. We take life at a slower pace here far from the hustle and bustle of the city. A place to chill and relax and hopefully recharge your "batteries". There is also a flowery garden with extra seating if you want to be surrounded by the flowers and wildlife. We are interested in lots of things including DIY, gardening, reading and all sorts of craftwork. We have bookshelves full of interesting books you could borrow during your stay. We hope to welcome you to our home and hope you enjoy your stay.

Hi my home is not the poshest but you get a Worm and friendly welcome full of family love I live not far from NEATH/ SWANSEA and not to far from the new big university of wales I. Live in a town called Port talbot we have the beach 10 minutes down the road mountains all around us and lots of fresh air there is my son who is 21 and myself living in the house as I lost my husband nearly 2 years now but we're now ready to invite you into our home

HOME AWAY FROM HOME! We have 2 fairly large, double bedrooms available with a shower room in the loft of our 4 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom house. Amazing location in the village of Wheatley with restaurants, supermarkets, post office and a nearby gym. We are close to Oxford (with convenient bus stop just in front of the house with regular and direct transport to the city centre). We are Pete and Titilola - work from home, empty nesters, with a little dog called Bino. I am an interior designer and coach, Peter works for a charity. Our home is newly renovated, stylish, clean and very comfortable and we would be delighted to host your stay in Oxford. We can provide light breakfasts, dinner (5x weekdays) and laundry facilities.
