The kitchen is a wonderful space to prepare and eat your breakfast in or other meals (where needed). The house is spacious and modern, with double-glazed windows, which ensure rooms are bright and airy and quiet. The bedroom window has blackout binds. I work from home, so am around to answer any questions and share the house with my beautiful small, very friendly, hypoallergenic dog.

Our comfortable house is an easy 15 minute walk from Canterbury city centre and 10 minutes from Canterbury East station, with regular trains to London and Dover. Family meal/packed lunch and English lessons, (qualified teacher), available on request, (with notice). We are happy to spend time getting to know guests if they want to, or allow people their own space. We are also happy to recommend our favourite shops, cafes and attractions. We are hosting shorter stays (weekends/two-four days) at the moment and longer stays from October 2024. Our accommodation particularly suits students, people on weekend stays or on English language or other study trips in Canterbury. We are situated in the coastal town of Herne Bay, our house is 5 mins walk from the beach and pier, 10 minutes from the railway station, 3 mins to the nearest bus stop, which you can catch to Canterbury or Thanet and a 10 min walk into town where supermarkets, smaller shops, restaurants and pubs can be found. We are a professional couple looking to welcome guests to stay, short or medium term in our lovely seaside home. We provide a comfortable double room with towels, bedside cabinets and dressing table . There is free Wi-Fi and a private bathroom, which has a large bath and rain fall shower. Approx 1 hour 15 into St Pancras international London and a short drive or bus journey to historic Canterbury. Good links to coastal Kent, Dover ferry port , Eurostar and the Euro tunnel. Brendan & Amanda would like to invite you to our beautiful home set in a wonderful rural location yet only 2 km from the historic city of Canterbury with it's world famous Cathedral. Rachel our daughter has a TEFL teaching qualification and is available for English lessons if required (extra charge). London is only 55 minutes away by train and Paris only 2 hours from nearby Ashford. If you like to be by the sea then hop on a bus and be there in twenty minutes and taste the delights of fresh seafood in the town of Whitstable. We have a large garden in which we grow our own fruit and play games and guests are always welcome to join us.

We are Rita and Mike Judge and we live in a small town called Herne bay in Kent in the South East of the country. I am a housewife and Mike is a retired Police officer and a Manager of Whitstables Lifeboat station. Mike has the MBE medal from the Queen for his Services to the Lifeboat which makes me very proud. Our bungalow has 2 bedrooms and is only 1 minutes walk to the sea ,shop. And only a 10 minutes bus ride to the train station which has direct link to Victoria London .We also live only 8 minutes walk from the bus stop to the city of Canterbury .We have 3 sons and 17 grandchildren and9 great grandchildren . We have been hosting for 34 years and we love it. Herne bay is a popular seaside town and a lovely place to live . our price includes meals and laundry we accept females between the age of 20-25 years of age
