Alicia is Looking for a House to Rent

I'm a 42 year old librarian working in Toronto 2022. I currently live alone in a 1-br in downtown Toronto (my family are all abroad in South America and Europe). I'd like to find 1 or more roommates, to share rent and a cozy living space with someone who is a good fit. I'm a non-smoking, (currently) petless, almost always friendly but noiseless person with a very stable job. I've got tons of experience living with (mostly German) roomies, and most of the noise I make is singing in the shower. I love cats and dogs but have none atm. Date-wise, I am hoping to find something to move into at some point before the summer, so I'm pretty flexible as to a moving in date. I'd love to live somewhere that gets some sunshine, has a patio or a terrace or both. I'm also willing, nay, eager, to pay more (up to 2k) if that means I can have the ensuite. I'd be moving in with a growing reference library and a medium-sized pencil collection, so I promise you'll never want for either. And if you like to eat, it just so happens I also like to cook and would love to e.g. have weekly dinner with my housemates.
