Melanie Needs an Apartment

I'm a public health professional working mostly from home with my sheltie-mix dog (small and low shedding!) I'm looking to move in July to a two bedroom near the Van Ness or Cleveland Park metro stations. I like to keep common spaces fairly clean and wouldn't mind sharing a bathroom. I am willing to live with another dog (granted they get along) but am allergic to pretty much all other pets. I would love to be friends with my roommate but don't have to be. I like to cook but not every night, although I do bake from time to time. I have been in the DC area for 1.5 years now but would love to explore with a roommate/new friend. I would occasionally have 4-5 friends over for brunch/game night but not often.
