Marianne Has a House for Rent

We are friendly, easy going, love meeting people from other countries. creative type people: Marianne artist / art therapist. Martin - up-cycling furniture / works for an Australian organisation. We both do some volunteer work, and Marianne is also disabilities support worker. We both love to read, catch up on tv, walk the dogs, socialise with friends and family, and sometimes travel. We have enjoyed hosting many people from many countries. We will help orientate you around the local area, and transport system, entertainment, attractions, walks, sport and events in Sydney. Transport: From Sydney Airport take the train to CENTRAL Station. Take the new M1 Metro 15 minutes to Chatswood. The M1 Sydenham to Tallawong departs from CENTRAL station. Alight at CHATSWOOD Exit train station to bus stops in station area. At the furthest bus stop take the 160X towards Dee Why. Ring the bell or ask the driver to stop at BEACON HILL McDonalds. Bus stop 5 minutes walk away ; Beacon Hill, McDonalds @ Warringah Rd: 160X to Chatswood Train Station - then to city etc , every 10 mins: 30 min travel 160X to Dee Why central, every 10 mins, to B1 express connection ( Palm Beach - City) 15mins travel to DY beach 20 mins travel. 193 Warringah Mall, DY Central- -Frenchs Forest + Northern Beaches Hospital Bus stop 10 mins walk Tristram Rd Beacon Hill 166 to Manly Wharf The buses are regular + interchange with other services. Free street parking available, as long as it gives our neighbours plenty of space, and doesn't cause any problems. We prefer guests who are tolerant & kind to our old dogs. 2 small dogs that live indoors / outdoors. We have hosted many wonderful people of all ages for many years. Our main expectations of our guests are that they are communicative, respectful and friendly. Please help with the dishes & dishwasher if required. Please be respectful of all other guests and home security. All visitors must be approved & a photo ID is required by every arriving guest, and any other visitors in bedroom areas. Over 18's only please, our house is not suitable for young children, or babies. too many safety issues with steep stairs and an open pool. The saltwater pool is an old and recently we have experienced many mechanical / pump & plumbing issues. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee it is suitable for swimming every day.
