1 Room available in Large Upper East Side 3br

Looking for a roommate to fill one of the bedrooms in my 3BR apartment on the Upper East Side on 96th Street and Lexington Avenue (153 East 96th Street). Rent is $1,700 per month on an existing lease (This is a sublet and you will not me signing the existing lease), and utilities are generally between $75-$100 per person per month which includes high speed 1 gigabit internet and electric (cheaper in the winter). The room is approximately 140 square feet and measures 11'2" x 12'6". It's nice and spacious with room for a queen size bed, work desk, seating area, and large dresser. The room comes with a window AC unit installed and is unfurnished upon move in. I'm looking for a roommate to rent the room starting September 1st with an open ended stay. I'm not looking for someone who wants a short term stay. Ideally you'd move in with the intention of staying for at least a year minimum. Please do not inquire if you are looking for a short term sublet for only a few months. The building is located 30 feet from the 96th st. 6 subway station and two blocks away from the 96th st. Q subway station. The unit is on the 4th floor in the back of the building and away from street noise. There is an elevator in the building as well as a Hercules operated laundry room in the basement that has refillable cards that you can use a credit card to refill. This is a very spacious apartment with a separate, nicely sized kitchen with a dishwasher, a large dining room, living room with tv, and 1 full bath. There is a $1,200 security deposit to be returned whenever you decide to move out, and I require first and last months rent up front upon move in.
