Pat is Looking for a House to Rent

I'm a 63-year-old Grandpa with three grown kids who all have kids of there own now, was married to the same woman (wonderful Mother of my kids) for just short of 25 yrs. I love music, I play guitar 🎸 and some piano I often give guitar lessons and love to rebuild and repair guitars as a hobby and to generate a few $$ from time to time. I was born on thunder Bay ont. Spent most of my life living in the Seattle area in Washington state. It makes it a little difficult for my kids and grandkids to get up and visit, the new border laws are making that hard. That's just one of those things we have very little control over. Just gotta be patient and hope & pray things will change soon. I had been in an on & off relationship with my best friend Tamara, we had made many plan for a future together. We had been engaged for bout 2 years, that came to a sudden end on November 1st of last year, she died suddenly of an unknown heart condition and needless to say, that really fucked me up. I've been meeting with a grief councillor at my medical clinic, but other wise I just find I'm doing everything I can to keep busy. I consider my self to be very clean and organized, I love doing yard work and fixing thing, I was an aerospace engineer fory The Boeing Aircraft Company for many years and also was chief Engineer on two large boats the Autumn Dawn out of Ballard (Seattle) and the Bella Elizabeth based in northern Alaska. Anyhow I must be getting close to 250 words, I have no trouble throwin' words down. I'm a mild smoker & drinker, my last six pack of beer was still in the fridge after about two months. I've been told I'm very easy to live with. I've shared house rental a few times in the states, I come from a family that owned sev real renters and my Dad was a kind hearted guy that couldn't say no so we had to deal with some very 'difficult' tenants quite frequently. I got very adept at fixing and restoring many aspects of a house. Wall repair, painting, plumbing, etc... We did it all. Right now I just wanna relax and play my guitar (softly) and get to know some good people with different interests. I am currently housed in East Van. So pretty much anywhere will be a marked improvement. Thank you. Pat A.
