EMILIO - 21. That’s me. I’m French / English with an Italian name. I grew up in Southern Africa (Malawi, Eswatini, Namibia, and Zambia). I study Geography, which is the butt of many jokes in our apartment. And while my employment prospects are already slim as is, I’m also a drummer, which doesn’t help.
I often go out to music jams in the city and organize shows with my band. You’re more than welcome to join! As for making noise, don’t worry, I have an electric set and only practice during the day. However, I do practice with my band 1 - 2 / week in my room. I have been told I am a nice person, and a good listener. I do the best Borat impression out of all of us.
ALEX - 20. He’s from Ottawa and of Greek and Persian descent. A former golden gloves boxer he now has transformed into a finance student, except he actually works hard. Don’t worry, despite being a finance guy he still knows how to read (he’s an avid reader), says “please” and “thank you”, and has basic self awareness.
Definitely a great roommate if you like debates, working out, or going out. He also makes incredible focaccia bread from scratch! He doesn’t take himself too seriously and is very easy to talk to - maybe being short kept his ego in check.
MAX - 21. Half Quebecois (you could never guess) and half American, Max is from Vermont. Despite his ambiguous looks, you only have to look at his diet of hot dogs in spaghetti to know where this guy comes from. The land of the free.
A dichotomy, he studies computer engineering and loves the outdoors. He is an insane skier, and he often talks about his adventures travelling across the US in a van. More recently he has spent the past two summers working on a ranch in Idaho.
Part of McGill’s varsity rowing team, he wakes up at 5am to go row in the fall. His back is enormous. He also likes a wide variety of rap, grunge, metal, and country which you will hear in our kitchen as he cooks often, always with his beloved cast iron pan.
