The private, large, and sun-filled bedroom is located on the second floor and features a large window with abundant natural light. The room is thoughtfully furnished and includes: Queen bed with 6 built-in drawers Gel memory foam mattress with modern bedding Study/work desk Accent sofa Large mirror Large Closet Mini fridge for private use Iron & ironing board Fresh towels, soap, shampoo, and conditioner are provided. Guests will share a clean bathroom with only one other female guest, as well as a fully equipped shared kitchen. Guests are also welcome to enjoy our large shared living room, which features a very big screen TV and comfortable seating. This space is shared with the family and is ideal for relaxing after a long day. Street parking is available for guests with a car. We are very friendly hosts who make our guests feel right at home. Our Colonial style house has beautiful gardens and is located just one block from the lake in the serene and safe neighborhood of Longbranch; just a 15 minute drive to downtown Toronto when the traffic is good. Marie Curtis park, the waterfront trail and a beach are just a five minute walk. Guests have a clean, private place to stay in the basement level accessible via stairs (no elevator). It is equipped with a bathroom, laundry room, Queen size comfy bed, and kitchenette (including a mini fridge and microwave - NOTE there is no stove, no freezer or kitchen sink). The unit has a separate entrance so it's private. Guests have access to a beautiful backyard with a gorgeous garden to relax in. It's the best of both worlds... Lakeside living near the city. We live very close to downtown Toronto and we don't have any pets. The location of the schools in downtown are very close to where we live, approximately 20 minutes away by bus. We don't provide any meals, however there is a fully equipped kitchen for you to use including the kitchen ware. We provide free unlimited WiFi, dish soap, napkins, toilet paper, hand soap. A cleaner comes in once a month to do a deep clean of the common areas (kitchen, washroom/shower, laundry, corridors). Steps to 2 subway stations (Yonge/Bloor and Sherbourne/Bloor) and very close to almost everything (transportation, grocery stores, shopping centres, restaurants, churches, museums, libraries, hospitals, pharmacies, post office, gay village, colleges and universities) . I live alone and have a small and very sweet dog. The room has a nice view and is equipped with a small refrigerator. You will have exclusive use of the bathroom which is equipped with a Japanese bidet. You can use the condo amenities such as gym, swimming pool, hot tub and sauna anytime you want.
