There are 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 living areas. Large covered outdoor area and pool. We have 2 small friendly dogs & a cat. We enjoy meeting people from other cultures. My husband runs his own business in import and sales. We are on a major bus route (130) into the CBD going right past Griffith Uni and only a 45 minute drive to the Gold Coast. We are happy to help out with transport information or even provide emergency transport free. Happy to pick up/drop off from airport for petrol and motorway toll costs only (approx 44.00) We have hosted Japanese, Chinese and Vietnamese young women. I have a Queensland Blue Card (issued by the Government after a criminal history check), so you can be assured of a safe environment in our home. We like to help guests enjoy their time in Brisbane however we can. Females preferred. The room is fully furnished with a king size bed.

I am a teacher and an addicted traveller. I live right in the middle between Gold Coast, Tambourine Mountain and Brisbane - about 40 minutes drive each way; for a traveller who wants to experience South Coast of Queensland it is a convenient destination. I live in a small complex of 13 units, about 5 minutes drive from a major motor way. We have our swimming pool and car parking spaces on the premises for the visitors. I offer a fully furnished and air conditioned guest bedroom on a top floor with a private bathroom. I have a fully equipped kitchen and laundry, a 3D TV and wireless WiFi, a nice tropical style garden with a day bed. I am happy to assist with meals if needed. I work irregular hours so I don't always have an opportunity to hover around my guests but I would try my best to assist them.

We have 3 eating areas (kitchen, dining room & outdoor area), so please only eat in these areas. No food in your bedroom, lounge room, or any other part of the house. Food needs to stay in eating areas. Thank you. Our spacious 4 bedroom home (200m2) is situated just 1 km from the beautiful beach of Palm beach. Nestled between mezmerising Currumbin (Currumbin creek, Elephant rock, Currumbin wildlife Sanctuary, and Currumbin beach) and famous Burleigh Heads (village and James street, Burleigh headland scenic walks, Tallebudgeera creek). There are a few shops (Woolworths, take away restaurants, chemist, doctors Organic produce store) and a petrol station 1km away. The closest bus stop is 300m away. It feels like everything you need is just around the corner. Tallebudgera creek beach in Palm Beach was many times voted cleanest beach in Queensland. You are booking 1 bedroom in our home and you will be sharing the bathroom. Please do not enter other people's bedrooms unless invited. We won't go in your bedroom either of course. The Tram will take you to Surface Paradise , Broadbeach/ Casino , Gold Coast Hospital and to sports arenas for those who are travelling here for the Commonwealth Games Access to your own bathroom.
