As a Hostess I would like to welcome people from all parts of Australia and the World to enjoy our lovely home including air conditioning in the bedrooms and throughout our home. We are close to the Gold Coast Theme Parks, the Train Station that joins with the G:link that runs down to the coast past the Gold Coast Hospital, Southport, Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach Mall and on to Pacific Fair shopping complex. We are also close to the M1 that takes you to Brisbane and train to Brisbane Airport and south to the Gold Coast Airport by road. My husband works but is often home and we love to help people with places to visit so that their stay with us is as enjoyable as we can help to make it. Our pool which is 3 mtrs wide by 10 mtrs long is heated and always ready for guests to have a swim. The Media room has Fox Television and a lounge to relax on for Guests to use.

My home is situated within a peaceful little neighourhood with nearby lake scenery and lovely little parks, it is the perfect place for people of any age. Within 10min walk is a park filled with basketball, soccer, baseball and a little park for kids to play in. We have a swimming pool situated within our garden along with a lot of rooms for family activities. Great family. We have two young boys (8 years old and 5 years old), and our pet dog. In our spare time, we enjoy going to the parks and movies with the kids. We also like staying at home, sometime play board games, bake or cook together. We love to help out international students, and find it's very rewarding to make them to feel like home in Australia. We take good care of our homestay students, and hope they love their stay with us too.

Hello My name is Lucas and I am a 32 year old male who currently lives alone in my 3 bedroom home located 10 minutes away from Griffith University and 20 minutes from the beach. My home is located in a safe and quiet street just 2 minutes from Paradise Point Broadwater park/shops and right next to the Coombabah nature reserve which is home to koalas and kangaroos. I currently work caring for school aged children at a local primary school on the Gold Coast, so I get to spend most the morning and early afternoon at home or at the beach and early mornings and late afternoons at work on a split shift roster. My homes garage has been turned into a home gym and can be used whenever you’d like. I also have access to a private community pool, spa, gym and sauna just 2 minute drive or 5 minute bike ride from my house that can be used from 9am-9pm. If you are coming with a friend and want to stay together then I have a 3rd bedroom available as well. When I’m not on holidays snowboarding I enjoy spending my free time exploring/hiking our hinterlands and waterfalls in Tambourine & Springbrook mountains or at the beach surfing and swimming and going on day and weekend trips away in my RV to Byron etc.. I also enjoy getting out and about to do just about anything when it’s good weather. I have a beautiful cat called Mila. She is a black long haired ragdoll with a very sweet and gentle personality. She mostly spends her time sleeping inside or playing outside but loves the occasional head scratch on the lounge at night. So, if you’re someone who loves to get out, try new things and explore the beautiful beaches and hinterlands of the Gold Coast then we might just be a great fit! I look forward to hearing from you!

The property is walking distance to shops & cafes, an easy 800m to Grocery store & 1.3 kilometre walk to Griffith University & Hospital. The the G-Link Tram only 800 m away. Uni bike path is only 80m away. Fully renovated with brand new Kitchenette, large bedroom with double bed & built in robe, own laundry facilities and the large lounge dining area boasts a 55cm TV, comfortable leather lounge and a 4 seater dining table. There is a fold out sofa in the lounge room for a 3rd person a $20 fee will be charged to cover set up & linen. I do require half of the total booking amount prior to arrival and rest on arrival. For longer stays we can organise an agreed deposit. A security deposit of $200 will be charged on arrival and refunded on checkout. I live on site and am here to help you with your stay.

We have renovated the front of the house into a huge suite to accommodate a single, a couple or a small family of up to 5 pax. Continental breakfast consists of bread, jams, butter, honey, peanut butter, cereals and muesli/granola, milk, seasonal fruit, juice, seasonal cheese/ yoghurt, coffee and several types of tea. We offer really comfortable beds and quality sheets, towels (with both a bath towel and a beach towel each per guest), free wifi, aircon in summer, extra fleece blankets in winter. It is expected that you will have lunch and dinner out, probably at the numerous theme parks or beaches. No washer or dryer in your suite, so we offer one basket of laundry (not more than 7 kg per day) done for you daily. Just leave it with us when you come to the deck for breakfast. Smoking is allowed, but not inside the house. We have a smoker's corner at the top of our garden. Our guests usually do their own exploring, and carry a key to go in and out. We are always happy to answer any questions you might have and arrange car rental or theme park tickets for you. We get these at reasonable rates from the local agent. The house is set in a very central location, we are very near bustling shops and busy beaches, yet, sitting on our deck sipping a cup of coffee, you will feel like you are surrounded by nothing. We are : 15 minutes from the famed Burleigh beach. 10 minutes from Broadbeach 15 minutes from Surfers Paradise 15 minutes from Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary 20 minutes from Seaworld 25 minutes to Movieworld 40 minutes to Tambourine Mountain 5 minutes to Robina Town Centre, largest mall in Gold Coast. We have a great contact for car rentals as well, $65 per day fro a Nissan Tiida; $100 per day for an MPV (8 seater). Pick up and drop off of vehicle at Gold Coast Airport.
