Home includes:
Dishwasher, Washer & Dryer in home, staircases in home are half flights (aprox 6 steps) and an entry way step, large fully fenced backyard, as well as a large open front yard with a small garden. Common areas like bathrooms, kitchen, living room, and laundry room are shared with the household. This is a four story mid century home. The entire home has central heat and AC. The house is fully furnished aside from the bedroom for rent. There is a Trimet bus stop just outside on the street corner, and there are many lovely shops just up the road.
This is queer/trans/POC/neurodivergent
welcoming space and it's gonna have to stay that way :)
We want to live with folks who are in the same general ballpark, or who are respectful and understanding of such. Strong communication skills, experience living with other housemates, able to stay on top of chores, and healthy practices around communicating needs and boundaries are high priorities. We appreciate having a friendly and generally calm/relaxed atmosphere at home. We are not looking for super rowdy partying (please no hardcore drugs; 420 friendly but no smoking inside the house, must have healthy relationship with alcohol/substances). We like to open the house to friends for game nights, crafternoons, movies, etc. Ideally our new housemates will also be in their mid-20s to mid-30s or at least be comfortable living with folks in said age range, and hopefully interested in occasional house activities.
