Escape NYC issues in a peaceful, well-kept home. Global Entry card member (background checked continuously) and passed FBI background checks by my employer due to my role. I'm clean, respectful, and easy to get along with. I like to keep the space peaceful, and I'm considerate of others' privacy. My recent roommate enjoyed living here; however, she just moved out to her sister's home, due to financial issues, so it's available now.
📍 Location: This is one of the nicest and cleanest apartments in Hackensack, located in a highly desirable area.
💰 Rent: is less than half the total rent. 2BRs in the area go for $2,350 and higher.
🏠 Apartment Perks: Spotless (let's keep it that way), rehabbed, warm in winter, cement soundproof bedroom walls. Hardwood floors, shared kitchen (I order meal prep, so you’ll often have it to yourself), living/dining room, Nest security, ultra-fast Wi-Fi, smart TV access (no sports), and access to tons of movies. Private unlimited heat control even in your own bedroom, when others pay hundreds for heat during cold months. Electric and gas utilities are super low all year.
🍽️ Kitchen: Renovated, granite-looking counters, stainless steel appliances, stove, microwave, griller, dishwasher, and half the storage space is yours, yes, quite a bit of cabinets.
🛁 Bathroom: Very clean, bathtub, handheld shower head, shared cleaning responsibilities. MUST KNOW how to clean the toilet and sink after use. No evidence, no souvenirs, no “I was here” signatures. Vanity cabinet space and more.
🛏️ Sunny room: (fits twin or full, tighter), a closet, and a window on two walls. Shared a separate linen closet and other storage, too. Cement walls between bedrooms provide excellent soundproofing. The room is 9 feet 8 inches by 8 feet 8 inches, with one standard window on two walls. Closet size: 7 feet 5 inches high, 33 inches wide, and 28 inches deep with built-in shelving for storage.
🧼 Environment: No outside shoes inside (because outside 💩 should stay outside), smoking/vaping, or strong-smelling cooking (due to allergies).
🧺 Laundry: On-site, a few feet away
🅿️ Parking: Street parking (permit-based to limit outsiders/guests). They ticket if you are not a resident, so this means no running home daily to capture a spot.
💪 Gym Nearby: It's 3 minutes away. It's huge and clean, offering classes, a sauna, a steam room, towel service, and a great, non-creepy, friendly atmosphere. It's the second-largest gym in the county and the cleanest within a half-hour radius, and to top it off, towel service is included. I moved here because of the gym and proximity to everything.
🛍️ Shopping and Neighborhood: Hackensack Hospital, major banks, coffee shops, 24-hour diner, Wawa, restaurants (Firepit is super popular, Smash Burger, Sarku Japan, Chipotle, Boston Market, Popeyes, McDonald's, Charlie's, etc), convenience, stationery, car wash, and hardware store. Many fuel stations, banks, and nail salons. There’s so much more, which is why the area is so coveted. Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, and ShopRite are just a few short minutes away.
🚌🚇Transportation: NJTransit buses 162, 163, 164, 144, and 712 are one or two blocks away to malls, NYC. NJTransit Train Pascack Valley Line, etc, or connecting to the PATH train to Hoboken/NYC. Excellent convenience, whether you have a vehicle or not.
🛣️ Minutes from Route 17, Route 80, Route 46, Route 3, Route 4, NJ Turnpike, and GSP.
🔒The home is for privacy, quality, and respect. Visitors are limited for everyone’s peace and security. I am seeking one person only, no couples or frequent visitors, to maintain privacy and comfort. Criminal/background verification is handled by the landlord for safety.
