I'm open-minded and friendly but it's not a party house as I work long hours and we also need to be considerate towards neighbours. LGBTQ+ lodgers are most welcome, as are lodgers of any ethnicity/nationality though we'd need to be able to communicate in English. There's no elevator, so would not suit someone who cannot walk up the stairs to the apartment. I'm fine with vaping in the apartment but smoking is prohibited in the building, so smokers must go outside for that.
I can only consider lodgers who don't work from home. You'd provide your own food and, though we may choose to share a meal, there's no expectation either way. We just need to clear up after ourselves.
Some days and many evenings I work from home, though in a separate study. This means I'm often not available to socialise but the living room would be available for the lodger's use. I'm a film lecturer, so my job means I sometimes need to choose what to watch on the living room TV, which is wired through an amp to speakers because so I can hear the sound design.
If you're looking for three nights per week, the cost is £390 per month with a £390 deposit. If you're looking for four nights per week, the cost is £485 per month with a £485 deposit.
