Short walking distance to UPenn & Drexel, my place is conveniently located about 3.5 miles from the convention center, where Reading Terminal is also located. The Mann music center, Please Touch museum, Philadelphia Zoo, Fairmount park are all very short walks. Bus number forty or number 10 trolley will take you directly into 30th st station then into Center City. Walk into the house, on the first floor is the living & dining area which opens into the kitchen that leads to the backyard. You're welcome to use living space with one simple rule in mind, leave it how you found it and clean up after. The 2nd floor is my space, which has a lounge area which you're more than welcome to hang out in. Your space - third floor has 3 bedrooms listed as Libra, Scorpio and a common lounge with one bathroom. Each room can be reserved individually. There is AppleTV, fridge, microwave, some accessories and complementary bottles of water. Clean essentials in all the rooms. The space has excellent wireless internet speed super comfy beds to rest in, a computer desk to study and plenty of storage. The backyard has a table, chairs, small charcoal grill for grilling. This is a very clean large space for your relaxing enjoyment. Smoking is designated only on the front porch or the backyard. The street is safe and easy access to everything Philadelphia has to offer.

We are friendly American & Japanese family. There is a community college with ESL program nearby. If you decided to take some classes at the college, it would be great chance to meet local people and make American friends. Our house is located in the middle of Manhattan, NY and Washington DC. 2 hour driving to both cities. Less than 1 hour to Philadelphia downtown by public transportation. There are many other places to go around here. Hershey Chocolate city, Harrisburg, Baltimore and etc. beside Manhattan and D.C. We moved into a brand new house 4 years ago. Rooms are still very clean. Your room will be very clean, fully furnished. We are a family of three (Irene—36, he/her, Mark—41, he/him & Eli—7, he/him) who love sharing our home and building community. Our very large garden backyard is shared with 2 other families and is a hub for family friendly social gatherings, artistic events, and casual hang outs. The room we offer is sunny and bright, and is adjacent to a shared bathroom and kitchenette.

Our home is located one block from the main transportation center for easy access to many universities including St. Joseph's 20 minutes, Drexel 20 minutes, University of Pennsylvania 20 minutes, Temple 40 minutes, Widener 40 minutes. We lived and worked for 15 years in Morocco and understand very well the challenges of learning a new culture and language. As a result of working overseas we also speak French and Arabic. We have hosted more than 75 international students in our home since 2013. We have a clean and comfortable home located near to a large commercial shopping area. We own a coffee shop which is located nearby. The cafe is a great place for English language students to meet Americans and practice and get help with their English. Our home has five bedrooms for hosting students. The students have their own kitchen and also share two and a half bathrooms. We offer our services as the host family to help you with any needs you might have for learning how to live in America. The kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, oven, stove, coffee maker and all of the necessary cooking pans and utensils. Free wifi is available and a shared common area for you to watch TV or study. We also provide a free laundry.

My wife and I are married 47 years. We are both retired educators. We live in a gated community in Upper Gwynedd, PA about 1 hour from center city Philadelphia. We are offering use of one bedroom (queen sized bed) with a separate, private, large bathroom. We are offering this opportunity to individuals who will be attending the DEMOCRATIC NATIONAL CONVENTION to be held in PHILADELPHIA from July 25 through July 28. Our listing is also available to interested parties who may wish to extend their stay either before or after the convention.

Patti and I are retired. We live on the ground floor. We turned the second floor of our home into an apartment when our children left home. This house was built in 1952 by Joe's father. It originally housed 8 children (7 boys and 1 girl) and 3 generations. 5 generations of the Keller family have since lived here. Joe's father's plans for the house were to make an apartment in the upstairs after the kids were gone. He died a young man but we have completed his idea. Our family consists of a daughter and family in New York City, another daughter and family in Kortrijk Belgium and a son and family in Hop Bottom, PA. Our home is located in Hilltown PA. Located near us is the SEPTA Train service. Chalfont station (4 miles away) or Colmar station (6 miles away). Trains run approx. every 30 minutes. There is Transbridge Bus Service to New York City. The bus runs out of Dublin (3.8 miles away) or Doylestown (6.8miles away). There is Peace Valley Park and dam 1 mile away where there is boating, nature trails, bike trails, bird watching, etc. Around the corner from us is Tabora Farms where you can delight yourself to pastries, cookies, coffee, wine and a large deli with a wide selection of salads, pies, meats, etc. The National Shrine of our Lady of Czestochowa is also located 3.8 miles from our home. Delaware Valley College and Bucks County Community College are just minutes away from our home.

HAND-WASHING is a must especially after bathroom use. Light switches, door knobs, fridge handles, often-used areas are sprayed with Lysol regularly. The guest room is a basement bedroom in a 5-bedroom home in a quiet neighborhood. Window ac unit is provided in the summer. My home is clean and clutter-free with free Wi-Fi access. Washer/dryer in the basement available for use by staying guests once a week. We are a smoke-free home. My neighbors are either teachers or nurses, and are friendly but keep pretty much to themselves. Adirondack chairs are available both on the porch and in the backyard. New Jersey and Delaware beaches are 1.25h away. We are 7 mi away from Jefferson Hospital, 6 mi away from Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia; 3.7 mi to Lankenau Hospital; 1.5 to Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital; 1.2 mi to Delaware County Memorial Hospital.
